I graduated in Philosophy at the University of Verona in 1999 after having obtained my diploma in Classical Studies. My first book FIRE WITHIN THE UNIVERSE (2002) is an essay on Medieval Metaphysics and Philosophy of Science, which was partially influenced by my thesis at the University of Verona. My second work THE GREAT ADVERSARY (2007) is an epic novel set between X century England and Scandinavia. Based on a XIII century legend belonging to the Teutonic Order and endowed with strong stylistic analogies with Edgar Allan Poe's tale "William Wilson" and Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Howe's Masquerade", the story covers the literary theme of the double and elevates it to a heroic and initiatory plane.
