Background Information

I've always loved poetry. My mother entertained me as a young child by reading then to me. RLS was one of my favorites; I still love A Child's Garden of Verses. The beauty of words as demonstrated by such greats as Shelley, Keats, Wordsworth, Frost, and other luminary poets, continues to thrill me. I have no illusions about my own writing prowess, sophomoric as it is, but I do enjoy writing when the spirit moves me. I hope you enjoy my poems, and I'm sure they'll heighten your appreciation of your own talents.
