I spent summers of my childhood reading library books, and this led to an early interest in writing. In college I earned a business degree and accepted a Civil Service job after graduation. Later I became a wife and mother and spent my time and energy raising a family.
Now that our children are older, I've resumed an interest in writing and completed my first children's book. When I first submitted it to an agency for evaluation, I was advised that I'd actually written three books. Ebram's Story: Book 1, The Haunting, is my first book in a series for 10- to 13- year-old readers. Its strengths lie in its promotion of strong family values and the awareness of cultural diversity. It also highlights the challenges many students encounter in a middle school environment and introduces the Giftigami Box to encourage community service.
Major themes: things aren't always what they seem, and service to others gives meaning to life and makes a difference in the lives of others.
