I wrote a few articles while in high school but my peers and friends thought I was bluffing. By this time I'd become addicted to suspense thrillers from the likes of Sidney Sheldon-my favorite just in case you're wondering, Steve Martini and Robert Ludlum, John Grisham, Jeff Abbott, just to mention a few.
However,it was after completing college that I decided to put it down on paper. Many of my friends back then and some even up to now think that it is presumptuous of me. That's life, right! I started with a page every night just before going to bed. I couldn't believe how the scenes kept flowing with ease in my mind.It was as if I had discovered a new "high" or something. I committed myself to two pages every night or more whenever I got time and the pages kept piling.
I sincerely thank all those who read my first draft three years ago, back then titled No Place to Hide. And I’m calling it a draft because looking back; it really was a draft - not a book. I was very green to this kind of serious writing. I hadn't published anything before, and so I didn’t really understand the protocols, the techniques, the intricate strategies, how to expertly use few words without sounding shallow, or how to play around with many words without coming off as superfluous, to concoct a legendary, enthralling and addictive, work of fiction. And I can tell you right now - it's not a joke!
Friends, family, potential fans (Hey, don’t ask me why I’m saying potential – its complicated), those I know and those I don't, those I've met and those I'm yet to, thank you so much for your support. If you understand my history, then you know this’ a milestone for me.
Anyways, my point is, it has been a long journey but I’m finally here. But if you wanna know where I’m coming from, read my website. You’ll be surprised.
Just one appeal I want to make. If you’ll come to like this book, please please please, by all means - tell a friend, or better yet - write a review on Amazon, my blog, your blog, facebook, twitter, anywhere, just do something. It will help a great deal. Thanks.
