Born in Brooklyn, New York, specifically Canarsie, graduated from Brooklyn College where I studied writing. But had already been studying writing since childhood, reading as much as I could, the best preparation for a writer. Influences include Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, T.S. Eliot, W.B. Yeat, William Shakespeare, Hunter S. Thompson, John Cheever, John Updike, Delmore Schwartz, Philip Roth and countless others including musicians and songwriters like Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs.

Published four books in 2009.

My latest novel, which is the last part of a trilogy will be published around Valentine's Day. It's called WHEN SIX WAS NINE.
