I am Apple du Plessis, a writer in the making. I love writing poems, songs, stories, etc. The reason I decided to become a writer, is because as a young girl, my grandfather used to read me stories and poems. I was so fascinated by the 'writers world', I started writing my own stuff. In February 2008, my aunt and best friend died (yes, it's one person). She was everything to me, and when I lost her, it felt like a part of me died with her. So after going tomany hospitals and seeing psychologists, I started writing again. Only this time, I understood what writing is all about. It's about your emotions and expierences and things you would like the world to know. my poems and stories became deeper, more meaningful and people asked me for more. I'd like to become known for the poems and stories I write, and one day I want to be able to look back and say, I've used the gift God gave me.
