The biggest influence in my writing goes back to college when I was in training to be a minister and I was exposed to different charactors and teaching of the Bible. That training laid the fondation for my stories and the other influences were writers such as Francis Schaffer, CS Lewis and Thomas Aquanis their philopsophies helped me to develop charactors and cultures and the reasons that they developed the way they had. Another influence is my work and I know that legally we cannot base our stories off of real people but I have worked with all kinds of people from the affluent to inner city and the observations I have made of those groups really enriched the charactors to the point where they seem real. Finally I love to study history and that helped develop a culture that is realistic. I guess the final influence is my love of sci fi even though I purposely tried not to copy anyones ideas and develop my own unique story I have had the courage to step out and use my imagination as a result of all of the shows and books I have read.
