I started writing stories in local newspapers when i was in Primary school. My first major literary works were when i was in second year at University.I wrote a play entitled SIANA followed by another one entitled FIRST LOVE. I used my two plays as assignments for a course called writing for theater.
In 2007 i composed a short story but i didnt publish it until 2009 when i gave it to editors who published it in a collection of stories and plays entitled TELL ME FRIENDS.
I got inspired to write by my mother who although she has never written any literary work, she used to tell me that "Literature is a powerful way of shaping a man". My English language teacher at secondary school also encouraged me to write. Moreover, i cant forget the inspiration i got from local literary writer, Elvis Musiba and Kenyan and worldwide known writer Ngugi Wa Thiong'o. There works have always inspired me to create the world out of imaginations and surrounding realities. Above all, i have a living spirit inside me which keeps on telling me "Yes you can"
