I'm a UCLA grad who got a BA in Economics but took some accounting courses too. After graduation I got a job as an accountant in LA. Dying of boredom from an office job, I remembered what I heard about teaching in Japan. When the economy went sour in 1991, I went to Tokyo.

Background Information

I got some money from a car accident and then decided to go see the Land of the Rising Sun. After arriving in Japan, I decided to learn some basic Japaneses while living in a homestay. Then I moved to Tokyo where I found all sorts of people: foreign spies, the Japanese mafia, former U.S. Embassy...

At the suggestion of the US State Department I decided to write about the adventures and near death experience that would happen in the next 3 years..
