I always wanted to be a singer, so I don't know how I became a children's author.

Background Information

BA in Journalism with 30+ years experience in freelance writing, advertising, public relations, marketing and sales. All these are beneficial for a self-publishing author. Spend lots of time marketing school author visits where I perform the books and bring them to life with multi-media presentations.

Published first book in series in Oct. '09 and have already sold almost 4,000 copies. Second book came out March 2011, just one month shy of the oil spill anniversary, have already sold 1,000 copies in 3 months. Busy doing school presentations of this dynamic story of the characters' rescue, rehabilitation and release following the historic Gulf Oil Spill.
