I was born in England and live in South Australia. Influences are many, but include Lynne Reid Banks, Alice Walker, Ray Bradbury and Shakespeare.

I have interests in music, theatre and film. I began to learn piano in 2003, and am now studying for grade 6 exams. I've acted in amateur theatre, been a film extra (and had one speaking part), which is all fun.

At the moment I'm studying full time for a BA in English Literature to fulfil a long-term ambition, and hopefully to make me a better writer.  

Currently working as an editor of academic papers, and a science writer, primarily with PhysOrg.com. I am also ghostwriting for several websites.

Several short stories and poems published in various magazines, both print and online. I've also been a reader at a couple of poetry festivals. Some of my stories and poems have won awards in competitions.

My first poetry book, 'A Thousand Walks' is now available (see link below). It contains a mixture of poems, haibun, haiku, sonnets, with some rhyming and some non-rhyming poetry.
