Relationship Expert, Film & TV Writer, Speaker, Comedy Writer and Frog Lady!

Background Information

Marilyn is the author of NEVER KISS A FROG: A Girl's Guide to Creatures from the Dating Swamp.  Published in the U.S. and ten other countries.  Marilyn appeared on over 250 radio & TV shows and was the Dating, Flirting & Kissing Coach on TV's "Extreme Makeover."

She is also a professional writer for film and TV, and has written for such shows as "Murphy Brown," "FAME," "Friday the 13th - the Series," and "Sherman Oaks."  She was on the writing staff of "Carol & Company" starring Carol Burnett, Richard Kind, and Jeremy Piven.  One of Marilyn's romantic comedy movies was produced and aired on Lifetime TV in 2008.  She is currently producing two of her comedy screenplays, as well as writing a new book.

Marilyn created a line of merchandise from her book, Never Kiss a Frog.  These include "ToadBags" and "Frognotes... laugh 'til you croak!"  Her ToadBags help raise money for Amphibian Ark - an International Organization that raises awareness and funds to help protect endangered amphibians around the globe.  So while Marilyn helps to save real frogs of the world... she helps save women from the "men" frogs of the world!  Marilyn recently wrote and produced a web series based on her book, Never Kiss a Frog, that will be premiering on the Internet soon. She also wrote and produced another webseries, "I Married an Einstein."

Marilyn's wit and wisdom has appeared in magazines and newspapers nationwide.  She also does speaking engagements around the country.  In addition, she writes a travel column, "Romance on the Road" for various media outlets.

Marilyn is also an accomplished playwright, actress and improvisational performer.  She has a Master's Degree in Biology and Physiology and, in her previous life, was a scientist.  Although she never dissected frogs -- now she studies them in detail... ie. the HUMAN Frog!
