Ms. Hutton is a children's book illustrator and writer. She has illustrated two books authored by E. Dorinda Shelley, "The Helium Egg" and "The Helium Table".
Dr. Shelley is a retired dermatologist. She, her husband, and three children lived for many years on a farmette surrounded by many of the animals in The Helium stories.
Ms. Hutton graduated from Maumee Valley Country Day School and The College of Wooster in Ohio. She has taken art classes since she was young. She grew up in an artistic environment and continues to expand her career through exploration of the arts.
"Creating children's books gives me a way to interpret and represent stories, thereby expanding a child's visual awareness. The joy in this process is in creating the illustrations and in sharing them with children and adults."
She resides in Ohio with her husband and their two cats.
