Aspiring children's author living in Gibraltar. First book The Grimstone Galleries coming this summer!

Background Information

I was inspired to write seriously after my first baby was born and after reading JK Rowlings Harry Potter books. I was also a CS Lewis fan and wanted to create my own fictional world.

I was returning from a family visit to Devon, Christmas 2002, and saw a village signpost saying Grimstone. The name sounded interesting and began to conjure images and characters in my mind. By the time I returned from that visit I already had a setting and my main characters. The rest of the story came from there.
