Background
Information
I do not really have a background in writing. In 2001 I wrote my first poem "My Flag" for Flag Day 2001. Then I wrote "Fourth of July" for July 4, 2001. Both were selected as Editors Choice and were published in Turning Corners and The Best of Poems and Poets 2001 respectively by the International Library of Poetry. Since then I have continued to write about my experiencs in the Air Force, life in general and some romantic poems. I have just started to read poems from Kipling and others. I also enjoy reading novels from Brown, Clancy, Grisham, Sheldon and Steele to name a few. BUT the reading must be interesting and hold my attention for me to finish it. This goes with any type of literature.
