Background Information

My background is in Education. I am also a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force (Reserves). Co-Author Pamela Howard-Oglesby, who is the first licensed funeral embalmer in Savannah, was "inspired by God" to recognize pioneering African-American women in Savannah Georgia who were first in their chosen careers.

Pamela is visually impaired, which is why she asked me to assist her in bringing her idea to fruition. After eight years of extensive research, we brought the book to press.
