Stephanie J. Stamps is a native Jacksonian.  She was born and raised in Jackson, MS.  She is the mother of two beautiful daughters.  She is one of three siblings.  She has always loved to write, even as a child.  She found writing was a way for her to escape and create what she wanted.  Her mother is a writer as well, though not a published author yet.  She thinks her mother has been one of the biggest influences on her life, especially when it comes to writing.  She wrote her recently published book,  as a result of making it up to her youngest daughter, as a bedtime story.  Her youngest  has always preferred the stories, that Stephanie makes up, rather than a book off the shelf.  Her daughters are her biggest fans.  Stephanie thinks that it's amazing to see her first book published.   She must say that her dad, one of the greatest storytellers that ever lived, always gave her plenty to not only write about, but think about and laugh about.  She wishes he was here to see her first book.   She knows that he would be proud.   Her strong faith in God, has seen her through this process in one piece.  She feels It was all worth it, and she plans to do it again real soon.
