Nurse and thereafter employed at acute hospitals in medical surgery, children's center and maternity departments. Continued my education to learn about operating a business for senior adults. Completed the training and worked for a short time for a residential business. Life changes occured I decided to leave the health care field. I began a non profit community service in the early 1990's after learning from my parents and grandparents working with them in their businesses. The service provides literary items for organizations to use for their programs and fund raising.
My major influences are my parents, grandparents, family church, college and community events I have attended.
My desire to write came from attending a Womens Month event at my college in California. The event's content provided a myriad of biographies of women in history from early to current. Maya Angelou's voice was the one which spoke volumes of writing your your own story. I visited my grandparents in the serene area or Iowa and started writing my first literary works which culminated into a real family stage dramatic work. I produced the initial one and later the Arts and Commission organization funded a community theater production.
