Michelle Hughes started reading Harlequin romance books at eight years old, sneaking them from her Granny. It instilled in her a love of romance that is still with her today. She is a Southern Writer from Alabama, mother of five and a former singer/songwriter. She performed under her stage name Regina Michelle and appeared with several great country legends like Justin Tubbs and Skeeter Davis on the Midnight Jamboree in Nashville.
She gave up a career in music to raise her family and chose to write as a way of sharing her love of entertaining the public while staying close to home.
