I have a varied academic background, but have enjoyed writing fiction since I wrote my first poem, called "Healed," at nine years old. I moved often growing up, and have lived all over the United States. After high school, I went to college at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and graduated in May 2010. I received a Bachelor's degree in physics and also concentrated in computer science. I was going to be a Signal Corps officer in the Army, but I was medically discharged in July. As such, I'm once again a civilian and am attending the University of Kansas, seeking my PhD in physics. My passions, other than science, include music and stories. I love a good story, whether it is in the form of a book, a movie, or told around a campfire. I want my readers to love my stories and characters as much as I do, so I am very open to criticism. I would love nothing more to be a published author of fiction, as well as a physicist.

I'm currently working on a book that I started in high school, but put on hold while I was at West Point. I also have a couple recent short stories, and two more ideas I will turn into novels in the future.
