My parent's left this earth in 1951 as the result of a murder/suicide.  We six orphans were left in the care of our mother's parents.   

     My brother's suicide death in 1990 brought all the trials and tribulations of our childhood crashing down on me.

     I wanted to rid myself of my demons from the past, so I began writing my story.  For two long years I was obsessed, I chronicled my first 18 years, reliving all the torment.

     The result:  I no longer look in the mirror with loathing, shame and disgust.  I now look and love the person looking back at me.

I wrote my story to help myself come to terms with my

childhood. Hopefully it will help others to know they are

not alone and assist them in dealing with their own past!
