My mother and I partnered to create a website for women. It was to be an online wellbeing magazine to empower women all over the world. Where we could allow people to publish their work from atricles to short stories. This was a starting block for me....I had a vision. We have been online now for two years! Im telling you about this as it is my history in the field, my experience. As im not a university graduate in literature or journalism, it was my starting block.
I have authored a few articles on our website, however, i find that my writing seems to come out in spurts. One minute i've got something to say and the next im scratching at the keyboard staring out the window. It's tough sometimes in this business.
So my early motivation behind my writing would definately have to be our website www.brandlady.com , its where this passion started.
Im here to learn, have my work critiqued by writers with more experience than me, to listen and to find out more about this industry and what is involved. There are other areas, such as editing and copywriting that I'm interested to learn more about.
I would love to hear from anyone with experience in this field - which is probably pretty much anyone who reads this. I'm wanting to network with other writers/editors, get to know you, how you do what you do, what motivates you, where you got your experience and the good ole peer support when you feel completely lost amongst it all.
Well I must move along....there are many boxes here I have to fill out LOL
