Kevin James Breaux is an award-winning author and artist. SOUL BORN is his debut novel.

Background Information

Kevin is a member of the HWA and EAA. Along with having many short stories published Kevin's first novel, SOUL BORN, an epic fantasy, was released 11/2010 by Dark Quest Books. Soul Born is book one in a three book series, that runs over 110,000 words.

Kevin was a student of Jonathan Maberry's and learned that writing is not only a passion but a business. He lists Frank Miller, Anne Rice, Larry Hama and Frank Herbet among his favorite authors.

During the mid 90s Kevin wanted to be a comic book artist, but the crash of the comic industry changed his mind. At one time he supported himself by selling commissioned comic art sketches on eBay.

Additional Information

The SOUL BORN series was picked up, and the third book is almost completed. Kevin is seeking an agent for all his future projects, including a Urban Fantasy and a new Fantasy Novel. Kevin is also finishing up his first YA book.
