I began writing as a teenager, but never thought of pursuing a career in writing, I went to college to study history. I received my teaching license, but only taught one year, because I felt it was not for me. I have always enjoyed reading. Authors who have influenced me include: Ernest Hemmingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Robert Frost, Stephen King, Ann Rice, Ray Bradbury, Tennessee Williams, and Edgar Allen Poe.I love genealogy and the story for my first novel came out of the idea that many people may not know the true history of their families. I hope this will be the first of many books for me.I currently work in the precription drug industry, but write in my spare time.
