I did plays with my young adult group at church and a community theatre group. I was an extra in the made for TV movie “Stay the Night” as front row juror; and a silent actor in a TV commercial. I played the Granny in Stephen Sondheim’s play “Into The Woods” put on by my church. These were long ago and faraway :-)
Photography opportunities included exhibits of my work, a one woman show with 50 pieces at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, Ireland; and an exhibit in a gallery in Boston, Massachusetts. Commercial work included being the photographer for UNICEF Ireland during a two day visit by then UNICEF Ambassador Audrey Hepburn which included a Gala Ball and Auction; a Delta Air Lines special event; project for Pete St. John (singer/songwriter) and photos for a real estate broker in Ireland. In Atlanta I did PR photos for Sally Stryker for a “Dark Night Theater” production.
There have been many tragedies in my life, yet also amazing blessings. I have learned much and grown through it all.
A special joy in my life has been my first book getting published July 2003. It was started while I lived in Ireland and finished in 1999. Autumn of 2002 while doing some research I found a publisher. I have learned to let God guide my life in these last few years. Awesome things have happened since it was published.
Life is more beautiful and blessed when we let God take control and guide us. I am excitedly waiting for the next surprise He has planned for my life.
Quote from Marcel Proust "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes."
I have seen with new eyes through my heart and soul, and now know the path God is leading me on and trusting in His blessings along the way. I am so grateful for the gift of finally knowing the purpose for my life.
