Influences?
Currently, my work tends to be very political-allegorical (a la my personal hero George Orwell) with a Lovecraftian bent when necessary. I also maintain a great love of science-fiction, in particular the works of HG Wells, Arthur C Clarke and Robert A Heinlein.
Motivation?
Ideas. When you've got an idea shuttling around at 200 miles a second in your frontal lobes, at some point you've got to let it out. I was never very good at music, I was never an artist, but I've always been able to write.
Background?
I live in the suburbs of Nuneaton, only minutes either way from sprawling chaos in the inner districts or from peaceful countryside and farmland. While not genetically native (my parents being from Essex), 17 years of living here is probably long enough to consider it home.
