J Q Rose began writing in the second grade to stay out of trouble. You see, she was a talker, so she discovered writing stories kept her from talking to her friends and allowed her to escape into her own imaginative world. After the sale of her floral shop and garden center business, co-owned with her husband, J Q launched into free lance writing. Her featured articles appear in newspapers, magazines, and ezines. Deciding to  give fiction a whirl, she joined the National Novel Writing Month (NaNo) challenge of completing a 50,000 word novel in one month, November. After a couple of years, J Q's mystery/light horror story tumbled out onto the page and was accepted by Muse It Up Publishing, released March 2011.
