I grew up in Essex County, Southern Ontario, Canada, where the land is flat and the weather unpredictable, just as in Kansas, the great Midwest or the great Ohio valley. These stories resonate with the seasons. I wandered into a Creative Writing class in 2005 and never left -- my current writing is still answering to those echoes.
