Hello, readers! My name is Alex, but seeing as it is the most common name in the world, I prefer to be called Scarlett. My biggest passion in life is music and I am and always will be a singer. On the other hand, there are moments in life when writing creeps up on me and reminds me why it was my first passion and still stays with me today. Most of my writing has to do with love and Gay Rights is a common theme for me, being an open lesbian. I am aware that many people have a problem with this and will probably say that I am too young to know what I am. I'm terribly sorry that you feel this way, now kindly refrain from criticizing my lifestyle. Now, more about my writing. There are some people who tell me that I'm a good poet but that my style bothers them. Why? When it comes to meter, I don't tie myself down. Sometimes my meter gets a bit sporadic because I write from my heart and try not to overthink that, and some people are so set on one consistant meter that they fins my poems bothersome. Again, I apologize, but that's just who I am.

Oh, mostly just in-school awards and so on. Haven't gotten into too many contests.
