I have lived and practiced art in different parts of Europe for long time learning first hand about the historical, modern and contemporary art and culture.. I have held 120 solo/group exhibitions of which 57 were abroad including numerous countries in Europe, USA and Turkey. I contribute on regular basis on Indian and global art in important national newspapers, art magazines and through my blogs and writings spread across web sites and e-magazines. I have lectured on Indian art in India, Germany, Finland and Slovakia. I have been steeped in religious, aesthetic and cultural philosophy of India.
My maternal grandmother was a Buddhist nun and had considerable influence on my philosophical and artistic development. She was also a stayagrahy and freedom fighter in the cause for removing Portuguese Colonists from Goa in India.
The influence great Indian Western thinkers is part of my intellectual and spiritual growth.
