This Book differs from any other Laptop or Notebook Repair Book in that it actually will teach you how to repair the laptop. I have read the majority of Laptops being sold both here on Amazon and all over the world, and Not ONE actually teaches one how to repair the internal components. The Authors that have written the Laptop/Notebook repair books that are in existance today and currently being sold are all from DESKTOP repair technicians, that truely do not have a clue how to actually "fix" a Laptop. The Books written will basically repeat what is available Anywhere on the Internet or can be already found in published books that the Author just groups and rewords to fit their book.
Ask any one of those Authors that have written a Laptop or Notebook repair Book to describe the process of replacing a ceramic capacitor, or a voltage regulator, or an IC chip... I guarantee you they have NO clue.. No Clue on how the Motherboard works, or how the inside of the screen works, No REAL knowledge at all about the laptop except the common issues like.... Changing RAM, Changing a Hard Drive, Swapping out a Screen.... (the easy, already known stuff)...
