I would like to welcome all readers and writers to my Moneysaver Editing presence in Authorsden.com. First, I would like to thank Authors Den for allowing me to have this space to express myself, my thoughts, to introduce you to the writers that I've edited for, show you the reviews I've written and, last but not least, to explain my editing business plan to all interested writers. Above all, may God bless everyone who takes the time to visit my space.
Moneysaver Editing was born approximately 3 years ago when I realized that I would be retiring from my current job (corrections counselor) within a few years. I realized that I had been reading all my life, one word at a time. I knew that I had the ability to understand what I read and to express myself well via the written word. I am an extremely detail oriented, driven and honest(I think) person. That being said...
My editing business plan...
First and foremost, I won't let you down. My work with you will be done only when you feel satisfied with what we have accomplished. I said we, not me. You and I, hopefully, will become a writing TEAM, working together to help each other.
I promise you that I will not change or alter anything you have painstakingly written, without asking you first. You wrote it, not me.
I do not charge by the word, I charge by the hour. I use voice recognition software to speed up the process and save you money. This way, if you're a good writer, you will benefit by saving money.
I am an all-around editor, from the proofread stage to your final edit . we will come up with a payment plan together. I will edit your manuscript once. You will pay me in full and then I will do a final edit, usually for free. This plan is not set in stone; it may vary from manuscript to manuscript based on certain factors.

Very, Very Big Props to you! The editors at Passionate Writer Publishing said Purple Phantoms was so well edited that they just sent the manuscript to proofreading and to the art department to be read for the cover design. They didn't have to make any changes and their editors said they "Enjoyed the story". What a compliment!!!

Karen Rossman is writing an anthology and I edited the first story for her. This is what she has to say about me and my work...
Thank you for your input on the story. After the series is finished there will be a follow up to Chantel's story (Footsteps to Dreams) and that character.
What I particularly like about your work is that you specifically detail why something needs to be corrected and you also give examples. This helps me to learn on the other books, things that I can correct before sending it to you. It helps me tremendously.
There isn't anything that I'm unsatisfied with. That's the great part!
You're definitely the editor I'd like to continue working with.
