I have always expressed myself through words. The first time a major event happened in my life, I turned to pen and paper to pour out the feelings I was dealing with. I had a wonderful English teacher who encouraged me to write; she motivated me to do my very best, encouraging me at every turn. I have been published over fifty times in books, newspapers, magazines, anthologies and I am currently writing my first novel. Joy Hale

A school I opened called the "Joy of Modeling Finishing Academy" where it was my pleasure to teach approximately 250,000 students over the years.

Close association with a Pyscholigist, where I learned to help mistreated and abused teens, then putting this knowledge to work in specially designed classes in my school.

My school received accreditation from the Texas Education Agency less than six months after an application and study ciriculum that I sent them. The only school of its kind in south Texas to have done so.

Freelance writer with my work appearing in newspapers, magazines, church bulletins, books and other venues.

I am currently working on my first novel, a richly filled family story that spans three decades. The hauntingly beautiful love story of Colleen and James is intertwined with mystery plots, worldwide travel, exciting careers, a kidnapping and a surprise ending that will thrill anyone who has ever been in love or valued family. I will keep you updated on the progress of my book, "Soft Landings"... a working title. Joy Hale
