I spent most of my life in foster care, being moved from home to home. I am 20 years old. I started life out with a abusive father in every aspect you can think and a mother that was depressed and solved it with drinking, she died when I was 15 from a drug and alcohol over dose, I am not proud of my childhood, I never really had one. I have 2 sisters and a brother. They have always been there for me. I became rebelious at 15 shortly after my mom passed. Poetry was my only ecape.I have since gotten over that, I got adopted at 17 with my little sister and changed my life around. I graduated with honors from high school, finished one year of college and got married and had a little boy. who is my life. Poetry though is still my biggest coping skill. My life wasn't always a great one but I am making it the best future I can. I am still working on i though.
