I must admit I never aspired to be a writer, actually never even thought about it, until that fateful day when the last chapter of Absolute Obsession popped into my head and stayed with me, forcing the entire book to be created - backwards I might add.  In the little time that I have been a writer, sometimes the frustration of the whole process seemed insurmountable and an uphill battle that left me weak and out of breath - for you who have done it for years and most of your lives...well all I can say is...Wow!
 
As the book ran itself backward in my mind - the plot and characters actually created themselves.  It was almost like watching a movie that I was completely caught up in and somewhat lost in as well.  My fingers couldn't write it down fast enough and it was sometimes so overwhelming it felt like I was going to burst.  You know how they say if something is heavy on your mind, you should write it down to get it out of your head - well how the heck do you write down 93,000 or so words so you can sleep?  With typing at a very fast rate it only took 11 days to write the first draft of Absolute Obsession - all 300 pages.
