Reading was a big part of my childhood. My best friend's mom was a librarian, and we'd sit in that library and devour books until she'd close up for the night and take us home. I read just about every genre (except non-fiction), and would read through entire series 2 or 3 times if I found them good. I especially liked mysteries and fantasy. As an avid reader, when I got older I found I quite liked the writing process as well. My passion for writing started in high school, but didn't fully develop until a little later in life.

Recently available as eBooks: Fire in the Blood (Book One of the Last Moon Rising series), a YA fantasy about a 17 year-old girl who is the key to ending global warming; and Racing the Nightmares, a contemporary mid-grade novel about a 12 year-old boy whose traumatic experience just about ruins his life.
