Vernard Kennedy is a New York City Public School teacher living in Queens. He holds degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. His 20 year journey led him to discover that he was already everything he was ever going to be.

Background Information

It took years of searching, listening and reflecting to discover that the root of my suffering came from a desire to become, or to protect, an external definition of myself—a pursuit I’ve come to see as erroneous. We are Spirit, one and the same, and our drive to be unique, distinct, apart from others creates a personal prison.

How liberating to realize this… how important to remember it!
