My early background was as an R.N. By caring for people, I learned so much about the trilogy of body, mind and spirit. Oftentimes my client'sr stories were so overwhelmingly sad, joyous or intense, that I would journal them, in order to keep them forever in my memory. When I was 54 I went back to school and received a BA. My major was Recreational Arts. I became a recreationist, bringing art, music and writing to special populations. My client's stories were wonderful, and I realized then how each of us has a story, a very powerful story of life, love, sadness, joy, and new beginnings to heal old hurts. I believe our stories must be told while we are still here. Because of those many experiences, my book, A Tale of Spirit; Yours, Mine and Lessons from the Universe almost wrote itself; the words and stories came pouring out. I love writing and have started my second book.

My husband and I now live full time in Victoria, B.C. after spending more than ten years in Tucson, Arizona, for the winters. I'm attending two writer's groups, and writing stories and poetry, as well as lyrics to music I've composed. I'm writing my second book.
