I have always loved fantasy and science fiction.  My poetry is an expression that gives me great fulfillment.  Inspiration happens quickly, and not deliberately.  I don't sit down to write -- something happens and compels me to write. When I write, I believe a poem should be extremely visual, and tell a complete story.  If you can't see the poem visually it in your mind -- then it wasn't worth writing. I often write in allegory.

I am a criminal trial attorney with a law enforcement background and have been distinguished in my field. I am an NRA certified firearms instructor with other certifications.

I stopped writing poetry when I started law school, and began again after over thirty years, only recently. I began my own fantasy poetry website in 2011 where each poem has an image background, and it is my current pride and joy.
