Who is Andy O'Halloran?

Well apart from other things he tries to be a devoted Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. He is also a former Grenadier Guardsman, gulf war veteran, all round know-it-all and smart arse!

When he does manage to have a moment to himself you will probably find him listening to rock music, reading or enjoying a pint of cider (probably all three!) He is currently employed in the Hardly Mentioned Public Service.

This is my first novel so I use the title 'Author' in the loosest possible sense of the word. When I had the idea to write a book I decided to write one that I would want to read. I read a lot of Historical fiction (I often bend a knee at the altar of Cornwell and Iggulden) and reference books, because it interests me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not arrogant enough to call my self an Historian, at best I'm an enthusiastic amateur.
