Mike is a lover of all things Horror and Heavy Metal. One day, his Muse kicked him square in the nuts and said, "Mike, you need to combine these two loves!"
This idea gave birth to Hollywood Cowboys. The novel came kicking and screaming into the world in 2010 and has been taking no prisoners without remorse, regret, or apologies. This novel is the first in a trilogy that pays homage to Mike's favorite horror movies, Heavy Metal, and pulp fiction.
Mike is also a Co-founder and Chairman of NIWA (Northwest Independent Writers Association). His short story, The Other Side of Daylight will appear in NIWA's Annual Short Story Anthology this fall.
He is hard at work on the Hollywood Cowboys follow up, Kiss of the Traitor. After the second Cowboys book, he will take a short break from that world with Dead Town. Sometime after that, the Cowboys trilogy will wrap up with Season of the Dead.
