After completing high school, I traveled the world seeking surf and adventure. Two years were filled surfing and saiing around the world where I experienced the adventure of a lifetime.
I, later, traveled to South America and visited many areas of Mexico, both journeys consuming two years of my twenties.
In my thirties, I enlisted in the Navy, serving most of my enlistment at Seal Team One, adding to my adventures in paradise.
I studied for six years at various colleges culminating with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon.
I retired after 14 years of practice and then wrote for two years before finding a publisher for my book chronicling my two year around-the-world adventure: From Boys 2 Men, an Adventure in Paradise. To view newspaper articles and photos from the trip visit: www.fromboys2men.com
i am now writing a novel: A Good Day 2 Die, which should be finished around the end of 2011.

From Boys 2 Men
From Boys 2 Men is an unforeseen journey of inspiring adventure, egregious motivations, sexual entanglement, physical adversity and near-death encounters, it was also a learning experience that could not be replicated in any educational institution.
From Boys 2 Men is the audacious tale of two young boys, age seventeen, that leave their parents nest to embark on a surfing safari to Hawaii. Dissatisfied with the poor surfing conditions on Oahu in 1964, they search out better waves in American Samoa, a place they had never before heard of. They leave Samoa on a 78’ inter-island cargo boat and later join a 56’ ketch owned by twenty four year old John. The three youngsters had the sailing adventure that young men only dream of. Episodically sharing those adventures was John’s wife, a nineteen year old Tahitian beauty, in a saga of love on the high seas.
Boat fires in Samoa, a near sinking in Fiji, a major tropical cyclone in Australia, hunting butterflies in Papua’s outback and a gut-wrenching hurricane in the North Atlantic greet them on their serendipitous journey. Life’s lessons taught on a grand scale with players from over fifteen nations.
