Thomas Kier attended several different schools while young, leaving friends behind each time. He had a close family relationship, but had trouble keeping in contact with others. Being alone was familiar and not always lonely.
Thomas did well in school, but left after three semesters of community college to seek his fortune elsewhere. This was not his best decision, and his future life paid the price. Still, he found his wife where he worked and has been in love with her since, as well as their two children.
Traveling was an interest of his, and he took to the road behind the wheel of a truck. This was not satisfying because it was not challenging. When he set his mind to writing, Thomas felt as if he had found his niche.
Thomas' writing incorporates a background of adventure, a good amount of end-world prophecy, and always trying to improve one's skills and talents. He firmly believes that everyone has their role to play, and an absent member means an incomplete world.
