Eventually I moved to San Antonio where I met my husband of 30 years now.  We have one terrific son and five very spoiled dogs.  Thankfully, my husband and son are patient souls who allowed me to follow my dream of writing without any hassles during the time I was immersed in creating . . . or playing Solitaire . . . like "what's for dinner?" or "will you be doing laundry this month?" 

I started my writing career doing feature articles for magazines and I soon learned that was not really my 'cup of tea.'  True stuff was boring!  I wanted to create a world in which I had control of the characters and the drama.  So between raising my son and the hours spent at my full time job and helping my husband with his business, I started hitting the keyboard and working on manuscripts in my favorite genres:  mystery and romance.

I was fortunate to have my Silver Sleuths Mystery Series published by Avalon Books.  This series is the coziest of cozy mysteries with delightful, eccentric characters.  Three older women first stumble into amateur sleuthing when they attempt to clear their neighbor against the charge of killing his wife.  Thanks to the people who are, and have been, in my life, I have enough material to keep this series going for years!
