Living in locations ranging from Colorado to Vermont to upstate New York I was brought up in a Methodist Parsonage. The Parents were a super intelligent liberal couple who directed the lives of my older sister and me with unusual style and grace. Music, literature, travel and an outlook on life that reflected a perfect combination of realism and fancy led us to our adulthood that perhaps gave us too much freedom to wend our own ways, but we eventually learned to handle this with maturity and gratitude. Writing was a given as my father was a noted author in his field. Reading was taken for granted with long hours of solitude a given if needed. Working for many years in Public Relations provided contacts and events too many to recount, but these were useful in molding my viewpoints and ambitions. It was a rare opportunity to view people pursuing a variety of avenues of living and work. A chance to muse at length about possiblities. This provided a wide variety of influences all affecting me to this day. My personal contacts have all been with people who are exceptional in their own way. All of these things lead to a continuing effort to understand the human condtion. A widow, I have three grown children. My grandchildren are ages 21,20, 9 and 7. This bit of information will tell you that I am On Becoming Of An Age and loving it. My writing for many years was geared toward my work in Public Relations combined with newspaper and magazine contributions. My first Meg novel, Meg & Charlie, A Journal, Somewhere Along The Way, 2011, is out. Meg & The Ladies Of Lavender Landing published in 2012 and Meg & Megan, Inc., the last of the Trilogy will publish in late 2013.
