"I am a novelist, screenwriter, and playwright. I've written for television, film and my stage play, "Follow Your Dreams" ran for eight weeks in Los Angeles.

Background Information

I am a graduate of the UCLA Theatre/Film/Television Department. I started my career in the entertainment business working with the late agent/manager Jay Bernstein. I also worked for Goodson Todman Productions as a Production Assistant with such shows as The Matchgame/Hollywood Squares Hour and Child's Play.

I went on to work at Columbia Records in Marketing and Promotion. Afterwards, I wrote and worked for the Los Angeles Daily News. I was then recruited and went on to develop and head the Public Relations Department of Discus Dental (aka Nite White) and also to develop and head Public Relations for Dr. Bill Dorfman (Extreme Makeover).
I have had articles have appear in such publications as Whole Life Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Los Angeles Daily News. Myr short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines. I have been a professional editor ("What Feeds the Heart"); and a screenwriter ("Chris Isaak's Guide to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival" for the Fine Living Network (FLN); "Tarnished Gold" co-written with Ronald Jacobs for Footprint Films/Great Seats LLC; "Cancion del Corazon" co-written with Marsha La Marca; "The Ghost and the Gangster" co-written with Luanne Nast for Academy Award winner John Daly. I co-wrote “Follow Your Dreams” with Ronald Jacobs. Lyrics for the play's music were written by Jacobs and Stevens.
I lives in Los Angeles with my husband and our two children.
