Information

I serve as an associate minister for West Angeles Church of God in Christ. As a member of the church’s executive leadership team, I assist the Senior Pastor with the daily operation of the church and with various local, national, and international projects. As President of the West Angeles Ministerial Alliance, I am responsible for the oversight, training, and development of the church’s licensed and ordained clergy. As an academician, I teach at the college and seminary levels and serve as a scholarly resource for the local church and the denomination.

|
I have a Ph.D. in Historical Theology (2007) and a M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary (1999). I also earned a M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University (1996) and a S.B. in Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1994). I was the first African American to receive a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Fuller Seminary.
