"Laugh, and the world laughs with you...weep, and you weep alone." An Irish proverb

Major influences are Oscar Wilde, P.G. Wodehouse and the early New Yorker writers like E.B. White, Robert Benchley, Dorothy Parker, James Thurber and Ring Lardner.

I studied for 5 years at Chicago's famed Second City Improv Theatre under Del Close and Paul Sills. I also had my own improvisational comedy group that plated in clubs around the city.

I am from Chicago but have lived in S.E. Asia for the past 18 years. My wife and I currently reside in a wooden Khmer style bungalow beside the Kampot River in southern Cambodia.

I have 10 e-books available via Amazon/Kindle, Smashwords and Barnes&Noble. All meant to be well written and amusing.

Birth Place: Chicago, IL USA

Accomplishments: Graduate of Campion Jesuit High School 1969 &

Georgetown University 1974

Additional information

My wife and I have just abandoned the mayhem of Phnom Penh and relocated 120 miles south to the old French colonial town of Kampot. We have taken up residence in a wooden, Khmer style bungalow in a garden setting along the banks of the Kampot River (estuary). It's quiet (no barking dogs) and very charming.
