Major influences are Oscar Wilde, P.G. Wodehouse and the early New Yorker writers like E.B. White, Robert Benchley, Dorothy Parker, James Thurber and Ring Lardner.
I studied for 5 years at Chicago's famed Second City Improv Theatre under Del Close and Paul Sills. I also had my own improvisational comedy group that plated in clubs around the city.
I am from Chicago but have lived in S.E. Asia for the past 18 years. My wife and I currently reside in a wooden Khmer style bungalow beside the Kampot River in southern Cambodia.
I have 10 e-books available via Amazon/Kindle, Smashwords and Barnes&Noble. All meant to be well written and amusing.

Additional information

| My wife and I have just abandoned the mayhem of Phnom Penh and relocated 120 miles south to the old French colonial town of Kampot. We have taken up residence in a wooden, Khmer style bungalow in a garden setting along the banks of the Kampot River (estuary). It's quiet (no barking dogs) and very charming.
