I was born in South Korea, graduated university and spent most of my time working as a high school teacher in Korea. However, I struggled with gender inequality and male dominance. Confused about love in my youth, I did not realize that real love comes after total freedom. An insecure and misguided relationship blocked my independence and courage. Eventually, my spirit stampeded out of this stagnant cell, and I walked away from everything, left behind in Korea, to come to the West. Through my journey, I began to find out who I was in the East, and who I would become in the West. This life journey was accompanied by great pains and required tremendous sacrifice. However, I was willing to take risks in order to obtain women’s freedom and find a true relationship. Like a wild flower, my leaves were always shaken or damaged by wind, but my stem always remained straight. I can say that I am fortunate to have had all kinds of unique life experiences. I want to share my true story with readers.
