Cynthia Leigh has had varied career over the past 8 years that has allowed her to work in numerous fields throughout the entertainment industry garnering experience not only in front of the camera, but behind it.
Cynthia is recognized not only as an internationally-known cosplayer, but as a professional model, actress, and writer. Specializing in print and promotional work with previous clients ranging from Anime Network, Capcom, Cartoon Network, Disney, TBS, Fox Sports Interactive to AT&T, Sony, HP, Coca-Cola, Olay, and Smirnoff. She currently has local and national agency representation thru HVQ and Charisma+2 Agency. She has been featured in both national and international print and has an ever growing list of film and television credits.
Cynthia began costuming at 12 years old and built upon her various skills over the years entering the realm of professional costumers when she was 19 years old with her first tearsheet. In the past 3 years she's had the opportunity to do wardrobe for Miley Cyrus, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, and Star Wars: In Concert. In 2009, she was one of a few seamstresses selected to work on Britney Spear's garments for the launch of her "Circus" tour. She has recently completed an entertainment costumer internship with the Disneyland Resort where she mastered theme park-level wardrobing including parade set-ups, quick changes, maintenance/repair, inventory, and mascot costume builds.
As a writer, she was a fashion and entertainment staffer for Gothic Beauty Magazine for 2 years doing book, movie, and product reviews, fashion Q&A's, event coverage, and features. She currently contributes to a variety of niche publications including: Anicoz Magazine, Charisma+2 Magazine, D20girl's Magazine, and others.
